NOVO-CENTRO is a new corporate building in the city of Santo Domingo that has quickly become a landmark of local architecture since it integrates functionality, structural and formal characteristics of high technology, thus encouraging urban revitalization.

Formally, the building defines its corporative image through a thoroughly covered crystal façade. The crystal panels are designed to tame solar light, protecting the building's interior while aiding energy efficiency. The shape of the tower is distinct from its rectangular base, and instead adopts a trapezoidal form that reinforces its verticality. The tower's design displays an interplay of curvilinear and straight lines, which achieves beautiful surfaces that vary in tonality depending on weather conditions and the time of the day. The top of the building is composed of a circular structure that supports a heliport; around it, a superimposed metallic surface compliments the crowning.
